4. She made him to apologise to the whole class.

   Korrigiert:

   → She made him apologise to the whole class. (Nach make steht der Bare Infinitiv — ohne to.)

5. He stopped to smoke two years ago and feels much better now.

   Korrigiert:

   → He stopped smoking two years ago and feels much better now. (stop + Gerundium = aufhören. stop + to-Infinitiv = anhalten, um etwas zu tun — das ist hier nicht gemeint.)

6. I hope seeing you soon.

   Korrigiert:

   → I hope to see you soon. (Nach hope steht der to-Infinitiv.)

7. She is used to work under pressure — it doesn’t bother her.

   Korrigiert:

   → She is used to working under pressure — it doesn’t bother her. (be used to + Gerundium — to ist hier eine Präposition.)

8. He failed finishing the task before the deadline.

   Korrigiert:

   → He failed to finish the task before the deadline. (Nach fail steht der to-Infinitiv.)
