Mixed Conditionals — Umformung 1
Forme die Sätze um: einige Aufgaben verlangen, den If-Teil ans Ende zu stellen; andere, einen reinen Conditional-Typ in einen Mixed Conditional umzuschreiben.
Aufgaben 1–4: stelle den If-Teil ans Ende. Aufgaben 5–10: schreibe den Satz als Mixed Conditional um — ersetze die Zeitangabe so, dass das Ergebnis in die Gegenwart oder in die Vergangenheit verlegt wird. Die Anleitung steht jeweils dabei.

If-Teil ans Ende:

If he had not missed the seminar, he would understand the material today.

If they had invested in the company, they would be wealthy now.

→ They would be wealthy now if they had invested in the company. (Kein Komma, wenn der if-Teil am Ende steht) -
If she were more organised, she would have met the deadline last Tuesday.
If-Teil ans Ende:
→ She would have met the deadline last Tuesday if she were more organised. (Kein Komma, wenn der if-Teil am Ende steht) -
Third Conditional: If I had studied law, I would have become a lawyer.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Gegenwart:
→ If I had studied law, I would be a lawyer now. (Ergebnis jetzt, daher would + Infinitiv) -
Third Conditional: If she had grown up in England, she would have spoken perfect English.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Gegenwart:
→ If she had grown up in England, she would speak perfect English now. (vergangene Bedingung → Past Perfect; Gegenwartsergebnis → would + Infinitiv) -
Second Conditional: If he were more careful, he would not make mistakes.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Vergangenheit (yesterday):
→ If he were more careful, he would not have made that mistake yesterday. (gegenwärtige Bedingung → Simple Past; vergangenes Ergebnis → would have + PP) -
Second Conditional: If I were braver, I would speak up.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Vergangenheit (at the meeting):
→ If I were braver, I would have spoken up at the meeting. (gegenwärtige Bedingung → Simple Past; vergangenes Ergebnis → would have + PP) -
Third Conditional: If they had signed the contract, they would have worked together.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Gegenwart (still):
→ If they had signed the contract, they would still be working together now. (vergangene Bedingung → Past Perfect; Gegenwartsergebnis → would + Infinitiv) -
Third Conditional: If she had passed the exam, she would have been a teacher.
Schreibe als Mixed Conditional um — das Ergebnis liegt in der Gegenwart (today):
→ If she had passed the exam, she would be a teacher today. (vergangene Bedingung → Past Perfect; Gegenwartsergebnis → would + Infinitiv)
