Past Perfect — Lückentext 2: Verneinung und Fragen
Übe die Verneinung und Fragebildung im Past Perfect.
Verneinungen werden mit had not + Past Participle gebildet — benutze immer die Langform. Fragen werden mit Had + Subjekt + Past Participle gebildet. Fülle alle Lücken aus und vergleiche erst dann mit den Lösungen.
Aufgabe
- She the homework before the lesson. (not: do)
→ She had not done the homework before the lesson. (Handlung war vor dem Bezugspunkt nicht abgeschlossen → had not + PP)
- he the news before you told him? (hear)
→ Had he heard the news before you told him? (Frage nach Vorvergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?; hear → PP: heard — unregelmäßig)
- They each other before the party. (not: meet)
→ They had not met each other before the party. (before → Verneinung im Past Perfect → had not + PP; meet → PP: met — unregelmäßig)
- she the contract before signing it? (read)
→ Had she read the contract before signing it? (Frage nach Vorvergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?; read → PP: read — unregelmäßig)
- I anything since breakfast, so I was very hungry. (not: eat)
→ I had not eaten anything since breakfast, so I was very hungry. (Zustand dauerte bis zum Bezugspunkt → had not + PP; eat → PP: eaten — unregelmäßig)
- the team enough time to prepare? (have)
→ Had the team had enough time to prepare? (Frage nach Vorvergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?)
- He his wallet at home, that is why he could not pay. (leave)
→ He had left his wallet at home, that is why he could not pay. (Ursache lag vor der Wirkung → had + PP; leave → PP: left — unregelmäßig)
- you ever Japanese food before that trip? (try)
→ Had you ever tried Japanese food before that trip? (ever … before → Erfahrungsfrage in der Vergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?)
- We anything about the problem until it was too late. (not: know)
→ We had not known anything about the problem until it was too late. (fehlende Information bis zu dem Zeitpunkt → had not + PP; know → PP: known — unregelmäßig)
- they the instructions before starting the machine? (read)
→ Had they read the instructions before starting the machine? (Frage nach Vorvergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?; read → PP: read — unregelmäßig)
- She her bag, which is why she missed the flight. (not: pack)
→ She had not packed her bag, which is why she missed the flight. (unterlassene Handlung vor der Folge → had not + PP)
- your parents you about the change of plans? (tell)
→ Had your parents told you about the change of plans? (Frage nach Vorvergangenheit → Had + Subjekt + PP?; tell → PP: told — unregelmäßig)
- He the email, so he was surprised by the news. (not: receive)
→ He had not received the email, so he was surprised by the news. (Ursache lag vor dem Ergebnis → had not + PP)
- the students the chapter before the test? (study)
→ Had the students studied the chapter before the test? (Frage nach Vorbereitung vor einem Vergangenheitsereignis → Had + Subjekt + PP?)
- I him before, so I did not recognise him. (not: see)
→ I had not seen him before, so I did not recognise him. (fehlende frühere Erfahrung → had not + PP; see → PP: seen — unregelmäßig)
