Bilde das Past Perfect Progressive mit had been + Verb + -ing. Das Verb in Klammern steht im Infinitiv. Diese Zeitform zeigt, dass eine Handlung über einen Zeitraum andauerte, bevor etwas anderes in der Vergangenheit geschah — häufig mit for, since oder all morning/day/night. Bei Fragen lautet die Wortstellung: Had + Subjekt + been + Verb + -ing?
