Diese Übung enthält alle Satztypen gemischt: Aussagesätze (have/has been + Verb-ing), Verneinungen (Langform: have not been / has not been + Verb-ing) und Fragen (Have/Has + Subjekt + been + Verb-ing?). Achte auf die Signalwörter: for, since, all day, all morning, lately, recently, how long. Das Verb steht in Klammern.

→ Has he been training for the marathon long? His legs must be in excellent shape.
- We contact with our old school friends lately — everyone is so busy. (not: keep)
→ We have not been keeping contact with our old school friends lately — everyone is so busy.
- The neighbours all night — nobody could sleep. (argue)
→ The neighbours have been arguing all night — nobody could sleep.
- the scientists for a cure since the outbreak began? (search)
→ Have the scientists been searching for a cure since the outbreak began?
- I about this problem for days — I just cannot find a solution. (think)
→ I have been thinking about this problem for days — I just cannot find a solution.
- She enough water today — she has a headache. (not: drink)
→ She has not been drinking enough water today — she has a headache.
