Reciprocal Pronouns — Umformung 1

Forme die Sätze um: ersetze die umschreibende Konstruktion durch ein Reziprokpronomen oder umgekehrt.

Aufgabe

1. Anna loves Tom and Tom loves Anna.

   Mit Reziprokpronomen (ein Satz):

   → Anna and Tom love each other. (gegenseitige Handlung zweier → each other)

2. She wrote to him and he wrote to her.

   Mit Reziprokpronomen (ein Satz):

   → They wrote to each other. (gegenseitige Handlung zweier → each other)

3. He knows her secrets and she knows his secrets.

   Mit Reziprokpronomen (ein Satz, Possessivform):

   → They know each other’s secrets. (gegenseitig, Possessiv → each other’s)

4. Each member of the team helped every other member.

   Mit Reziprokpronomen (kürzer):

   → The team members helped one another. (gegenseitig, Gruppe → one another; auch: each other)

5. They respect each other.

   Ausschreiben (zwei Sätze — A respektiert B, B respektiert A):

   → She respects him and he respects her. (each other aufgelöst in zwei Einzelsätze)

6. The two colleagues sent each other’s reports to the manager.

   Ausschreiben (zwei Sätze):

   → Colleague A sent colleague B’s report to the manager and colleague B sent colleague A’s report to the manager. (each other’s aufgelöst in zwei Einzelsätze)

7. The pupils in the class read each other’s essays.

   Mit „one another“ (formeller):

   → The pupils in the class read one another’s essays. (formellere Variante: one another’s statt each other’s)

8. Mark called Lucy and Lucy called Mark.

   Mit Reziprokpronomen (ein Satz):

   → Mark and Lucy called each other. (gegenseitige Handlung zweier → each other)

9. The children in the group listened to one another.

   Mit „each other“ (weniger formell):

   → The children in the group listened to each other. (weniger formelle Variante: each other statt one another)

10. They support each other.

    Ausschreiben (zwei Sätze):

    → She supports him and he supports her. (each other aufgelöst in zwei Einzelsätze)
