Übe alle Satztypen des Simple Past in anspruchsvolleren Kontexten.
Fülle die Lücken mit der richtigen Simple Past-Form des Verbs in Klammern. Die Sätze sind eine Mischung aus Aussagen, Verneinungen und Fragen. Achte auf regelmäßige und unregelmäßige Verben, auf did not + Grundform und auf was not / were not bei to be.

- She three years in Tokyo before she back to Germany. (spend / move)
→ She spent three years in Tokyo before she moved back to Germany. (spend → spent — unregelmäßig; move → regelmäßig: stummes e + -d)

→ Did the police find out who was responsible for the accident? (Frage Simple Past → Did + Grundform)
- The audience very enthusiastic — some people even during the performance. (be / leave)
→ The audience was not very enthusiastic — some people even left during the performance. (to be Sg. Verneinung → was not; leave → left — unregelmäßig)
- I that she already left the meeting. (not: realise / have)
→ I did not realise that she had already left the meeting. (Verneinung → did not + Grundform; have → had — unregelmäßig)

→ Did your team finish the project on time, or did you need extra support? (Alternativfrage → Did + Grundform, beide Teilfragen)
- The museum thousands of visitors every day when it open. (attract / be)
→ The museum attracted thousands of visitors every day when it was open. (regelmäßig: -ed; to be Sg. → was)
- He the opportunity to study abroad because he enough money. (not: take / not have)
→ He did not take the opportunity to study abroad because he did not have enough money. (beide Verneinungen → did not + Grundform)

→ Did the students pass their final exams successfully? (Frage Simple Past → Did + Grundform)
