- This cake amazing! (taste — passiv schmecken)
→ This cake tastes amazing! (taste = einen Geschmack haben → Zustandsverb, kein Progressive)
- She very tired today. (look — aussehen)
→ She looks very tired today. (look = aussehen → Zustandsverb, kein Progressive)
- He at the photos on his phone. (look — aktiv schauen)
→ He is looking at the photos on his phone. (look at = aktiv schauen → Handlung, Progressive möglich)
- I a doctor tomorrow about my knee. (see — Termin)
→ I am seeing a doctor tomorrow about my knee. (see = treffen/Termin → geplante Handlung, Progressive möglich)
